After the miserable rain and chilly conditions in soccer city and Bafanas poor performance against Cape Verde it was Clint Dempseys stoppage time equaliser for Spurs against the MANCS that ended the miserable weekend and gave us little smiles. The gap now 5 points. Make no mistake United are firm favourites for the title. With RVP scoring again United were on their way to increase their lead in the English premiership. Dempsey stepped up and man MANCS were hissing and cussing at De Gea. De Gea to me is an exelent shot stopper.He has saved the MANCS on many occasions but Alas he has let them down as well. And if you look at United past successes,guys like Shmeics and Van de Sar were massive. Its also strong in the rumour Mill that Fergie is looking for a keeper. 1-1 it finished though and at least Man City are there.

In the other big game Chelsea beat Arsenal 2-1.Chelsea took the lead through a superb strike from Mata and then went two up from a Lampard penalty.Walcott who signed a new deal pulled one back in equally emphatic fashion. In La Liga Barcelona lost their firts game of the season 3-2 and Real ran out 5 goal winners.
In Seria A Juventus beat Udinese 4-0 with a Pogba screamer. The MANCS let him go and as a Bianconero he is just growing as the season goes on. AC Milan won 2-1,Lazio,Napoli and Inter all draw so Juve are 5 points clear
