Once upon a time, in 1997, in a faraway land at the end of the mighty African continent, there were a bunch of fun-seeking and quite quirky characters. They were masters of the food world, having spent many long days and nights serving happy families in their restaurants. They dreamed of making fantastic food, simply – without all the fuss of big kitchens and endless staff. One day, a spark of genius struck! What food would make the people of the South of Africa sing and dance with joy, even when times were tough? What food is fun to eat, no matter where you are or what you’re doing? It’s the humble hotdog, of course!
This quirky, fun-loving bunch of guys decided then and there, they were going to make the world’s best hotdog – and called it Sausage Saloon. Their Plan? Make it so simple, yet so good, that nobody would suspect the magic and quality hidden inside every sausage.
