ZAMBIA ARE CHAMPIONS OF AFRICA
I really enjoyed watching the AFCON Final. Ofcourse it was emotional for Africans and Zambians because of the plane crash where the Zambian team perished. Many years later in a pulsating affair the Zambians beat Favourites Ivory Coast on penalties. It was end to end stuff and the underdogs were victorious thanks to a Didier Drogba penalty miss in normal time. The Chelsea man balloned it over the bar. Zambia hit the woodwork and came close. And the Ivorian Stars Toure and Gervinho missed in the shootout to hand Christopher Katonga and his Zambians the title of Kings Of Africa.
They proved they could do it.
The sad affair was SABC being better than Supersport by televising the presentation. Supersport surprisingly lost the feed. If this has to happen when Italy win the Euros in July Il be pissed.
But for now hail Zambia and Congratulations to the Champions of Africa
