About Patrão
Owner and qualified pastry chef Waseem Sabdia, started his culinary journey at Capsicum Culinary Studio, where he earned his degree.
Half of Waseem’s family is from Mozambique, which is where the Portuguese name “Patrão”, meaning “boss”, comes from.
“Patrão is mainly a bakery, but clients can also sit down and enjoy a light meal.” Waseem says. “There has never been a fully functional fresh bakery in Mokopane.Everyone is buying from the local supermarkets, and my vision is to offer homestyle baking so if a client comes in with a special request I can certainly make it happen.”
