@abdulmanack @asiflaher Tell us more about this pic
What a team boss!
Imraan Omar @fionao786 Marhoom Nazir Dindar @riyaazd
@yumna_s faried was telling me he was quality
@mo_kola7860 Jack Manack showed me the wicket at his house in Partridge Street. As litys in the Mosque all we heard was Did you face Jack Manack
@swoosh0018 Mansoor Abdullah quality also. Watched him at Lesco in his latter years
Mansoir Abdullah ( Dynamos midfield dynamo )
This was a great team Pace of Jack Barney and Nazier Dindar Spin of Dee Parbhoo Medium Pace of Haroon Lorgat and top batters like the explosive Mentoor Upfront with Boyks Shiner Ike’s and The elegant Mansoor Abdullah with Haroon & Nazeer in the middle order
Also the legendary wicket keeper Yasin Begg and in this picture also has the speedster Ramnarian and the all rounder Neville ,can’t remember his surname
Mansoor was a great Cricketer, but a Soccer legend! @ashrafgarda
@asiflaher so how did this team perform on the tour. Also had there not been limitations would you say anyone in this team would have represented SA
Solly Mangera not in team?
Beat Eastern Province in PE and drew with WP in Cape Town
Difficult to say who would play for SA. With the right coaching ,exposure to today’s type of intensity in training and mental approach from an early age , any one of these guys could have made it
Yasien Begg was probably the best keeper not to keep for SA, Naz Dindar was on another level, Ikes Khan was as stylish as Mark Waugh, Masoor Abdullah was as brutal as they came. Cricket aside those hairstyles should’ve got them hands down into any England team in the 80s.
Chances are off the field were the better performances with the line up in question. Jack was no doubt the night captain
