A KILLA Weekend even though Liverpool lost. The Round Up
This weekend another Galactico went down and my right hand web man Killa got married. It was a sublime affair with some massive names. It was a weekend of weddings and for me Eish, the food was sublime but the grilling wasnt. Congrats to my man Killa . A special guy that UBG also took like his own son. We had some moments and times and well the Theories on the blog will bare testament to that. A special congratulations from Swoosh0018 and well the Best of Wishes. The Alipore prawns and menu was sublime.
All said and done the football in the EPL was disappointing. Liverpool afte renduring Back to Back wins were in action against Aston Villa at Anfield. I seen Moe Cassims status which read “Well Done Brendon Rogers,You a Genius”. I tuned in and it was 3-1 to Aston Villa. Because I got back late I watched the highlights later and was amazed at how lacklustre we were and how we conceded. Reina beaten from distance twice and I mean we let the Villa man walts through the centre and score. No disrespect to Benteke. But I mean the man waltzed through for Villas third.
All the Villa goals were fantastic and again after Gerard got one back we Liverpool fans were left to lament the loss and take the abuse again. It just gets worse.
The MANCS seem destined to win the League this year. At the Wedding on Sunday Evening I chatted to a few MANCS like Joe Dindar and Chi Chi Cajee and the likes. Who is there to challenge them. I think Citeh have been shite this year. The MANCS and RVP were rampant this weekend. I even debated the fact that based on two out and out strikers or twin strikers the MANCS have probably the best striking partnership in world football. Which team wouldnt want to be striking with Van Persie and Rooney. And again as much as I hate them credit to Sir Alex fro pulling out such a signing. RVP is f#4ken quality.
RVP’S old boss Wenger made his balls lighter after Santi Corzola inspired Arsenal to an emphatic victory on Sunday and Chelsea who contested the FIFA World Club Cup in Japan lost 1-0 against Corinthians. The Big Question though is that are they on the Rise Under Benitez
In LA Liga I watched with intent as Barcelona clashed with Atheltico Madrid. Falcoa vs Messi. Falcoa put Athletico in the lead but it was the little man who scored a brace as Barca ran out 4-1 winners. I don think it was Messi’s best ever performance but a brace in a big game and he just keeps on scoring. Mourinhos Madrid drew 2-2.
In Serie A Lazio beat Inter Milan 2-1. Napoli lost. Milan ran out out 4-1 winners as Al Sharawi and Nocerino netted. Whats important is after Juve thumped Atlanta 3-0 we go 7 points clear. Now thats Simply Sublime
