Its a huge blow to the sport Sherwin. Armstrong was like the Mohamed Ali of cycling. 22 days. the French Alps. What about previous winners. How big a blow is this for cycling

    ????? ?????
He’s not the first Armstrong to “mislead” the world… Neil NEVER walked on the moon ! The “waving flag” in zero gravity issue was a dead give away which NASA rectified in later missions. Personally I doubt Lance ever had cancer, cud it be a time away to clear his body of experimental traces of advanced doping? The Livestrong foundation is a money laundering, money making scheme for himself. Yes they do bits of good work, but how much has Lance Armstrong pocketed from the foundation over the years? Lance and Neil are exactly what their surname suggests…..WANKERS !

Seriously gents, doping in cricket and soccer? Last time I checked they test them as well, ask Rio Ferdinand about it. The nature of both those sports means it makes absolutely no sense to be doping regularly or continuously. However doping in sports like cycling and athletics clearly has benefits – Ben Johnson, Marion Jones, Floyd Landis, Alberto Contador.

Seth are u saying Badrinath will never Dope. But I agree. Cycling,Marathons and such sports are taxing and requires sheer endurance. But why are these role models letting us down

well some insider perspective from a cyclist & medical point of view

    1. most teams have doping funds. if a rider dopes he gets paid higher.
    2. these teams have dr’s who are more clued up in there fields than those doing testing.
    3. the doping methods used at the time were way advanced of the time. ( chemo patients lose red blood cells. there is medication on the market given to these patients to increase there red blood count. from a performance point, the more red blood cells, the more oxygen to body & muscle, the better the performance. so this is what the guys were doing. at the time they tested for steroids etc. which would never call up this type of doping. in fact SA cannot in present day test for these drugs which are termed E.P.O. drugs.– thus the reason they only finding it out now.
4.most teams do it and are under pressure from public to want to see riders riding at 45km/h instead of a 25-30 km/h. they also wanna see the guys sprint on an incline

Lance saw a gap & took it. still WHY LANCE, but the playing fields were level then as everyone was doing it. that s why after being stripped, theres nobody to give the titles to.
