LONDON 2012-Olympic Review-Cameron van der Burgh wins SA’S first gold

As we approach the 10 day of Ramadaan the Olympic fever has kicked in. Ive been watching a bit and I must say Ive enjoyed it thus far.

Guys keep mentioning the hefty archers and ofcourse the bug hype from the Brits was to scoop the medals with Team GB and cycling.Cavendish and Wiggens were destined for the podium after the strong Tour De France campaign but Team GB Got it al wrong and finished outside the medal standings.

Ive been watching the swimming and after France pipped the US in the 4 x 100 m freestyle relay the talk was of our SA Boy Camron van der Burgh. A fanastic swim to break the World Record in the 100m Breast Stroke. Great stuff.Well done Cameron.

Neymar setting London 2012 ablaze

Ive also been enjoying the Soccer and with Neymar setting the Mens section alight the Spanish were dumped out. Perhaps unlucky but I was happy. Finally we can watch a football competition without the Spanish. They were shocked and dumped out by a strong Honduran outfit.

And ofcourse a massive dissapointment was Banyana Banyan getting dumped out in the first stage.I expected more. Lets see what Week 2 will entail
