ANFIELD BRINGS OUT THE BEST IN KEEPERS
Yes Anfield brings out the Best in Keepers. The Mighty City with all their millions travelled to Anfield and after they took the lead through a set piece and poor marking it was Joe Harts heroics that kept Liverpool at bay. Charlie Adams equalliser presented Liverpool with yet another draw. This is waht I mean when I said that against the minnows it will come back and haunt us. We perform against the Big Boys. Yes we happy with the draw but also it is now one to many. I guess we have to take gratitude in getting a draw. But Anfield just brings out the heroics in many goalkeepers. The game was also overshadowed by Balotellis red Card. Look Ballotelli is not exactly a nice guy and full of shit. But the red card was harsh.
I was at Cafe Europa in Parkview getting a take-away pizza when I seen some MANCS hissing and cussing. Later on Facebook and BB they were complaining about the dubious penalty decision. Fine they were hard done by but Bob Marley used to say What Goes Around Comes Around. Poor Mancs. The point again means they failed to get their momentum.
Chelsea finally won and when everyone expects Arsenal to come up with the goods the litys disappoint. The EPL Sunday though was saddened by the news that Welsh Manager Gary Speed passed away after hanging himself. It came as a huge shock to the footballing World. A Gentleman and an exceptional talent for Newcastle and Leeds earlier on the Welshman leaves behind two children and his love and precence for the ga,e will be missed.
In LA Liga Barcelona unexpectedly lost and Madrid thumped Atletico in the Derby. As El Classico draws near Joses men look calmly poised.
In Serie A Milan and Inter won whilst Roma suffered a shock loss against Udinese.
For me Saturday Night was sweet as Juventus beat Lazio 1-0 in Rome. It wasnt the easiest of victories but the Juventus train continues to move. Simone Pepe who I honestly didnt rate has had a blinder so far. Now to Napoli
