VQ35’s have been worked to maximum potential by tuners who want to push to the max with minimal overhead. Injected Performance tricked this ride with a set of CP Pistons, Crower Rods & a ported & polished Cosworth Head.with plenty of titanium bits, not to mention a custom 282 degree cam. The boost comes courtesy of a Garret GT47 running reliably at almost 2 bar. To keep this mammoth planted stability is provided by Megan Racing Coil Overs & Koni shocks Has the baton been passed from the RB26 to the VQ35 to rule the roost for another decade ? A custom nismo GT block would have probably launched his beast into orbit.

The worlds largest & most successful automaker has ditched its street racing pedigree of years gone by. No successor to the Celica or Supra which grips the senses when spotted at drag meetings. At a Wesbank event late last year a certain burgundy import Supra stole the show on the mobile dyno dishing out a drastic 300+ wheel kilowatts. It’s a freakin shame the import laws restrict us from procuring these amazing machines.
Nevertheless what have we hear : a superb Supra, sad to say a dying breed on the performance scene, is TRD dead? Or still cherished to create enough chaos. Chaos indeed when the Blitz Supra whipped one of the fastest road legal lap times at the Nurburg Ring of 7 mins 49s. Stunning !!
This silver bullets track performance & handling comes via Tein Coil Overs & TRD front & rear sway bars coupled with Blitz techno speed wheels wrapped in Potenza S03’s.. To hold all of its 950 horses a Getrag 6 speed gearbox does the trick confidently mating the boost generated by its Precision GTQ Turbo. To complete the package the 2JZ-GTE is managed by an AEM system, HKS cams & full Blitz exhaust.
