Arsenal and United drew on Saturday, and it would have been the perfect opportunity for the Reds to close the gap. But, as has been the case, this season, Liverpool created chance after chance, but failed to convert anything to trouble the scoreboard. All fans who keep backing Dirk Kuyt, have been given a good kick by the “hard working” striker- he should be working harder to score goals in my opinion, The Dutchman is still to score in open play this season, his two penalties in the Merseyside derby his only contribution to liverpool’s goal tally this campaign.
I do really feel that with Rafa’s new found kitty he should be looking for a more clinical finisher, and at the same time, get rid of Kuyt, who quite bluntly is just too slow, not to mention he has the 1st touch of a brick wall, and together with Riise , just aren’t good enough, period. His easy misses on Saturday were the final nail in the coffin, and Crouch must be wandering what he has to do to get a start, scoring goals doesn’t seem to be the main criteria surprisingly.Nice to see Harry Kewell back on the pitch, and he added a much needed spark on the left from the moment he came on, while Babel needs more time to adjust to playing as a winger, Rafa once again playing players out of position, and hoping they can cut it, but as is the obvious, you have horses for courses, and he needs to motivate his stable, because frankly, the fans are growing restless, and new rumours surfacing suggest Jose ”The unemployed one” is eyeing up his job… now watch how the media blows it up and gets Rafa fired. But Rafa’s reds are
Still unbeaten, with a game in hand on United, Chelsea and City, who all sit above them on the log.But a game in hand should never be taken as three points in the bag, and the draws are not helping in closing the gap. Still, Liverpool’s away record has improved and now reclaiming Fortress Anfield will be Rafa’s main task, and it begins on Tuesday in Liverpools champions league do or die match against Besiktas followed by Fulham on the weekend, lets see what a week can do for Gerrard and Co …

Enter “THE LAAL CHAVIL”, that’s a charoh and a red devil to emerge as red hydrid rice –huh.
Us United supportes have been subjected to some cynical slants by da blog meister accusing Ronaldo of being a diver in his first post of the “T.O.D”. I felt I just had to step up to the plate to end this abuse by ABU’s propagating half truths. I admit Ronaldo was a bit suspect but after a couple of klaps from ferguson & queroz he cleaned up every award as the best player in England in 06/07 not to mention he has won every medal in English football already, name me another player that has done that at 21. He is Ron The DON.!!

Inside the Theatre
Tevez seems to be getting better and better. I’m not surprised cos I think the club has learnt from past experiences in the way they treated Diego Forlan. I had my doubts about South Americans adapting to the super fast pace of the Premier League. Forlan & Kleberson struggled alot. Forlan complained about lack of support showed to him by Ferguson & Keane. He once claimed Keane never liked him since he arrived at O T. From lessons learnt Tevez on the other hand has been subjected to a lot of praise by his fellow team mates & SAF. Not only that but his younger brother has just signed for United Youth Team, that can only help him as his family moves to Manchester. Tevez (apart from his smile) can be a LEGEND at OT, what you owes skeem?

United are on the cards to sign another Sporting Lisbon player. Maybe Sporting should become Uniteds full time feeder club apart from Royal Antwerp. Ronaldo & Nani, two world class talents signed from sporting and maybe a third here in Miguel Veloso. The midfielder is being closely watched by other clubs like Madrid but Uniteds relationship with Sporting will give them the upper hand plus Queroz to do the translating & Veloso described as a midfield wonder kid at just 21 indicated that he see’s no reason not to move to United.

Midfield Maestro’s
And what about the Lity Anderson? Only 19 years of age & looks like he’s been at OT a good few years. The way he has been dictating play in midfield with through balls & excellent passing – simply unbelievable!! talk to me what you owes think of this Brazilian lity will scholes be missed ? Only reason why he is mugg of the week cos the KOPPERS don’t have any young talent & they’ve spent a lot of money on kak! The Future looks superb. Not only that but watching Hargreaves in the opening games of the season although some disappointing results to the likes of City, the oke looked absolutely solid protecting the back four & holding the play this oke just needs a little more time … Other news Gary Neville’s back from injury after making a welcome return in the reserves with a 6-1 victory over Stockport.

Last Game: vs. Arsenal
Impressive attacking play from United who took the fight to the gooners from the word go, Giggs should’ve got his 100th premier league goal after good work from Ron The Don after 15mins. Again Ron The Don mesmerised the Arsenal left backs just before half time for the opener slid in by Rooney but how was the second sublime setup for the Don after intelligent link up play courtesy the French connection? Too Good – we opened them up like a can of worms!! To the goons it felt like a victory when they equalised, looks like they KOPPING OUT & by that I mean becoming a one man midfield team. Take Fabregas out of the equation & the assnil will poop blanks. On the downside some fumbling defensive play led to both equalizers. Ferguson blamed the ref for the second goal for not giving a foul on Saha in the build up play and accused the ref of “favouring” the goons. But let’s stick to the positives: we led twice on their home ground with cutting edge attacking play. I seen a banner at half time at the Emirates with the words “ARSENAL HATES OSAMA” what the f#ck?
Hargreaves made fabgas looks second best in most one on ones. Talk to me my fellow United breathren…

Next Game vs Dynam Kiev – should be a walk in the park – wouldn’t be surprised if SAF fielded the reserves.

Yeah he has learnt from the master himself.

Ronaldo is no longer the King of diving.

Trafford has a new Prince of diving… Anderson

How was that for making a real meal out of it….

They do have the talent…. but
It just proves the comments when the blog started : UNITED YOUNGSTERS CHEAT TO MAKE A NAME FOR THEMSELVES.

On Anderson, He over played one tackle. It may or may not have been a foul, and yes it wasn’t as bad as his reaction made it out to be. I admit he was wrong in the waving of the card at the ref and in reacting to the master Fabregas’s tackle. But the Liverfools choose to pick one moment out of the entire time he played to asses he’s ability. He works hard for a so called attacking midfield player, chases back when he’s lost the ball and is a ball winner, which makes him an exciting propect at just 19, and yes he does look like he’s been playing at OT for a while, he’s settled in nicely.

My opinion is that things are shaping up nicely for us Mancs and all the negatives are only from the Liverfools bourne out of envy. They can’t stand it as their team looks mediocre while United are firing at the moment….. Not wat they predicted after just 4 games.

And Loks was right, a Chelsea man thru and thru but even as United set on 2 points after 3 games, he told me “They will come good, you can see they playing good ball and playing well”. And how right he was, he even predicted the Fools downfall.

As for Arsenal and the Osama banner… Last year Arsenal took up the option to promote Israel Tourism. This after United, Liverpool, Barca and Milan were approached and turned it down.

As a Manc I’m stil against having this Theatre of Dreams column. I say we don’t need it.

Liverfool fans need to concentrate on their own playing staff. Somehow it’s only the Fools that seem to comment on United players. I haven’t seen a bad comment from a Manc on any Liverfool player. Like they say if you a quality player you hated by fans of other clubs otherwise no one cares.

Well said Shakes, these Liverfool MUGS only concentrate on Man U, cos thir team is so KAK and cant win F*&^ck All. Thier only consolation is when Man U loose.

Its a tough life supporting Liverpool.

BTW Laal Chawall, just a little correction on your post, Ronaldo has not won every medal in England, he still has to win the FA cup with Man U.

Saturday’s game showed exactly why most football fans despise Man U, their manager and their fans. They had the opportunity to play a great game of pure, attacking football, to put on a show and they almost did just that. But being Man U they had to spoil it. SAF once again proved he hasn’t got one iota of class in his tired old body. He could have praised his team for a good performance, he could have shown respect for his opposition like Wenger did but NO he had to rant and rave about referee bias!!

The other aspect of United that tarnished the game was Anderson’s typical Man U underhand tactics. He went down like he’d been shot and got Fabregas booked. He pleaded innocence when he chopped down Sagna. And he should have been booked for brandishing imaginary cards and hassling the ref. Of course SAF missed all these so he wasn’t grateful to Webb for NOT sending Anderson off for his ref impersonation. He also wasn’t grateful for Webb NOT pointing to the spot after Vidic brought down Hleb in the box. He also was not grateful for Webb refusing to give the Gunners a free kick when Hleb went sprawling in the lead up to their 1st goal. If Howard Webb WAS indeed biased towards Arsenal he surely would have done one or all of these.

The fact is although Man U do play some fantastic football their reputation will always be tarnished by Ferguson and the underhand tactics he encourages and allows. Their team could be heralded for their fast flowing attacking style but instead it is remembered for the rantings of a cantankerous old git and a cheating young Brazilian.

JAKES you over reacting about SAF.
Ronaldo was a bit suspect like Chavil says but SAF & queroz cut that out of his game. Unfortunetly every time he goes down now he is being victomised because of his skill.
Trust me if Anderson does the same SAF will be the first to stamp it out. SAF is a man of inegrity.

A draw was a fair result, stop moaning man!!

CHAVIL I take it you a joburg boy?

I said from the off I don’t agree with a United column. I’m not going to change wat I believe in… I say let the football do the talking… We don’t need a column to speak about wat we going to do on the field….

He’s post was good, I didn’t say it was terrible or anything, I just said I don’t agree with having it.

    Boo HOO – Ag shame…

The officials at Manchester United are busy assembling a security report after their manager Sir Alex Ferguson claimed that he was verbally abused by the Arsenal fans.

The episode is said to have taken place when the Red Devils clashed with the Gunners at the Emirates Stadium, for their Premier League tie on Saturday where the match ended in a 2-2 draw.

“Our security people are compiling a report on it – the incident was behind us,” said Ferguson.

“But I’m sure that Arsenal, with their CCTV cameras, will have picked it up.”

Ferguson had said on Saturday: “On our bench, we were getting terrible abuse from people two or three feet away from us.

“There is a lack of security. It is absolutely disgraceful the abuse you and your staff take. All sorts of things are being shouted and screamed at you and there is an absolute danger here.”

Guys come on, last time it was Henry, is Fabregas going to be the flavour this time around ?

The last time I checked when Arsenal played there were 10 other players on the field.

Arsenal fought to the bitter end, and the draw was a good result. To equalise in the last couple of seconds should feel like a “victory” as you have at least got a point from the game.

It seems like the injury time winner left a sour taste in the manc’s mouth…

The 1st goal,(the last 5 times I saw the replay) was a deflection off Gallas, the direction of the ball changed when it hit him, from an Arsenal point of view it was a soft goal.
But then again all goals count, and there is no extra points for “opening them up”

To the Laal Charlie, why are you harping on about “United’s young talent” ? The last time I checked they were young players BOUGHT from other clubs. Yes united have a young/er side, what about Torres for Liverpool is he not a young TALENT. what about Fabregas, Walcott, Clichy ??

But anyway if United supporters want to know where Arsenal are on the league please start looking at the TOP !!!!
